BARBARA SINGH. Director.
A graduate of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa with a law degree, she also holds diplomas in Legal English and International Commercial Law from the Pan-American University. She is certified in AML/CFT by the National Banking and Securities Commission and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS). She also holds AML certification for Vulnerable Activities, issued by the Financial Intelligence Unit in Mexico. She served as the Representative in Mexico for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (now DHS), conducting binational investigations into money laundering, commercial fraud, trafficking of cultural property, and other related matters. Previously, she was Deputy Administrator of Customs Investigations at the General Customs Administration, conducting binational investigations into customs-related issues such as smuggling, undervaluation and triangulation of goods, violations of country of origin rules, and intellectual property rights. She co-founded C&C Compliance & Conduct Advisors in January 2017 and has been a Director of the firm since June of that year.
